Quick Escapes is aiming to complete a 52 week photo project in 2018. A picture a week...that sounds easy enough. Well I'll tell you from experience...it's tougher than you think.
“It is inhumane, in my opinion, to force people who have a genuine medical need for coffee to wait in line behind people who apparently view it as some kind of recreational activity.” - Dave Barry
This week's photo is of a little coffee shop, roast house in Bucerias Mexico called Café de la Esquina. Unlike the quote above I don't mind waiting for my coffee at this location. This family run coffee shop has a great vibe to it and you're greeted as you walk up the stairs by the smells of fresh ground coffee and the site of the roasters. If you're lucky, you walk in mid-roast and the smells of nirvana.
So far I've only had the Americano here, which is fantastic, and will some morning try a Cafe de Olla, the traditional morning beverage here. They also make fresh cinnamon rolls here each morning that I'm always too early for and boast a beautiful back terrace complete with a chicken coup for fresh eggs.
If you happen to be in Bucerias, check it out.
